i'm disappointed in myself because it has taken me so long to post some music by Albert Ayler. well, now i'm making up for it by posting one of his better studio recordings - this is "Spiritual Unity". the playing on this is phenomenal and you should definitely check it out!

Mercury Rev

this is the 4th album by the band Mercury Rev. you could compare this album to late 90's Flaming Lips, i certainly would, although there is something more "pure" about this music. check this out!

here are three early albums by Animal Collective. the first is called "Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished", released under the name "Avey Tare and Panda Bear". you'll find lots of fun stuff in here, lofi-pop-noise type of stuff. very good! next is "Danse Manatee", a slightly more extreme album, of which the word "noise" would more aptly describe. this was released under the name "Avey Tare, Panda Bear, and Geologist". finally is an EP called "Prospect Hummer", which they did with a singer named Vashti Bunyan, an obscure, older folk musician. they're all good!
